Explosion suppression system components - GatEx

CONEX
The ConEx controller receives, evaluates and records information from sensors, and when an explosion is detected, it sends a signal to activate the gate. For personnel it acts as a user interface for the ability to configure and assess the status of the system.

IVM
An additional gate control module, which shows the status of the damper and allows manual control of the gate.

LumEx / DetEx
The GatEx system has two explosion detection sensor options: DetEx pressure sensor and LumEx optical sensor. The sensor takes readings in real time and sends them to the controller. The pressure sensor is equipped with two reading heads, and the optical sensor operates only in the infrared range, which helps protect the explosion suppression system from false alarms.

Diaphragm rupture sensor G
A big advantage of the GatEx explosion isolation system is the ability to operate from a membrane rupture sensor, which can significantly reduce the cost of the system.

Gate GatEx
The main component of the explosion isolation system is the GatEx gate. If an explosion is detected, the ConEx controller activates a damper, which closes the air duct in milliseconds, isolating the spread of the explosion.
