A rotary valve serves as a crucial component for the continuous discharge of granular or powdered products in a system. Material from the filter hopper or auger flows into the valve's inlet and is then conveyed and discharged from its lower section. In dust collection systems and pneumatic conveying setups, the valve functions as an airlock, preventing air from entering connected equipment. How the rotary valve works

The material is loaded into the rotary valve through the upper inlet, and the constantly rotating valve rotor moves the material to the lower part of the valve, where it is discharged through the external port.

Due to the minimal gap between the body and the rotor the valve does not allow air to pass through and reliably seals the process.

The ExR and RS/ex rotary valves are designed to discharge potentially explosive materials. The rotary valves are certified according to EN 15089 "Explosion isolation systems" for use as explosion isolation systems to prevent the spread of explosions through the discharge exit.

VPS

ExR ΠΈ RS/ex Flameproof

The "RS/ex" rotary valve is designed for installation in potentially explosive atmospheres requiring shock-resistance and flameproof certification to prevent propagation risks. It complies with the stringent European standards outlined in "Explosion Isolation Systems EN 15089," with certified resistance up to 10 bars.

Each valve supplied in this version conforms to Directives CE ATEX 2014/34/EU II1D for interior and II2DG for exterior machinery.

The "RS/ex" model is available in various materials such as cast iron GS400, G25 with nickel or chromium plating, stainless steel AISI304, or AISI316. Transmission options include chain drive or direct drive.
