Kompac Air cylindrical filter CNSB is a cartridges filter designed to support negative pressures up to -20.000 Pa. The KOMPAC AIR cylindrical filters are configured and produced based on their use and specific customer needs. They are suitable for installations in systems with high negative pressures and are also available in the ATEX version.

Kompac Air cylindrical filters are dry filtration systems designed to eliminate suspended solid particles from the air, particularly in applications with high negative pressure. These filters facilitate the treatment of diverse pollutants in fields such as welding, the food sector, and the pharmaceutical industry. Dirty air enters the hopper tangentially, and the collected material is discharged into a designated bin. The Kompac Air cylindrical filter CNSB is specifically engineered to withstand negative pressures of up to -20,000 Pa.

An innovative approach to airflow

When designing each model, TAMA performs airflow simulations to ensure maximum filtration efficiency, reduce the load on the filter cloth, lower the pressure drop across the filter, and, as a result, save energy consumption of the dust collection system.

Advanced filter media, classic cartridge design

All models of TAMA KOMPAC AIR cartridge filters are available with any filter media, making it possible to use cartridge filters in various technological processes. All filter media have been tested and certified by IFA-BGIA to provide filtration class M, which guarantees filtration with an efficiency of at least 99.99% and less than 0.1 mg/m3 emissions.

Regeneration of filter elements

The filter element regeneration system is classically designed for cleaning with compressed air pulses. The filter is equipped with venturi tubes, which ensure uniform, 50% more efficient cleaning of the filter elements. The filter operates longer and more consistently before replacing the filter elements.

Controller

The filter is equipped with a differential pressure controller that monitors the degree of contamination of the filter elements in real-time and activates the regeneration system only when necessary. Thanks to this, TAMA bag filters reduce compressed air consumption, which saves energy and ensures more stable operating parameters of the dust collection system.

EcoNet PLUS

The filters can optionally be equipped with EcoNet PLUS for complete remote monitoring and control of the dust collector. It helps to prevent unexpected downtime, monitor important parameters, and detect possible malfunctions before they occur.

For safe operation when filtering explosive dust, TAMA cartridge dust collectors are available in explosion-proof versions:

Explosion pressure relief: The ATEX version of the bag filter is equipped with an explosion venting panel that releases excess pressure and flame when the dust explodes.

Flameless explosion venting – the filter can be optionally equipped with a flame arrestor for filtering the discharged flame, which makes it possible to release the explosion even indoors safely.

Explosion isolation – a B-flap valve prevents the explosion from spreading through the air ducts to adjacent equipment.

The ATEX version of the filter is equipped with antistatic filter elements, grounded, and all external components are Ex CAT 3D.

These measures make it possible to use the bag filter for filtration of explosive dust and to install it in explosive dust environments.

Constructional strength

Due to its cylindrical shape, the CNSB cyclone filter is highly resistant to vacuum and can be used in dust collection systems with a vacuum of up to 20 000 Pa.
