The features of some technological equipment require the presence of an aspiration system, without which it cannot work, and the quality of the technology depends on the quality of the aspiration system. In aspiration systems this is called process filtration.
When designing aspiration systems for process filtration, the quality, efficiency and reliability of the aspiration system are extremely important, since the operation of all technologies depends on this.
Solutions and equipment used
Filtration: dust released during wood processing has special properties and creates certain difficulties for classic aspiration filters; filters for the woodworking industry are not standard and have a number of features.
We chose a filter that was designed specifically for use in woodworking and has its own characteristics (read below).
Explosion protection: Wood dust is a potentially explosive product, so the filter has been equipped with explosion pressure relief membranes to ensure safety in the event of a dust explosion. To eliminate a source of ignition that could cause a dust explosion, antistatic filter elements are used in the filter.
The pellet production line is divided into technological sections that can operate both simultaneously and independently of each other. To save energy and filter life, the aspiration system was designed with one aspiration filter and six independent aspiration branches, which made it possible to turn on the aspiration system only in working technological areas. This solution made it possible to ensure a significant reduction in system energy consumption and a long service life of the filter elements.
Advantages
Cleaning with high pressure fans
The bag filter is equipped with a system for cleaning filter elements using high-pressure fans, which eliminated the need to connect compressed air. Operating such a system is significantly cheaper than compressed air regeneration systems.
Energy efficiency
The special design of the filter made it possible to install six independent duct line, which significantly reduced the energy consumption of the system and increased the filter service life.
Explosion protection
Explosion ventilation panels ensured the safety of the system in the event of a dust explosion.
Clean air
High-quality filter elements provide a residual emission concentration of 0.1 mg/m3 for wood dust.
